With decades of experience in high-level advisory roles, he previously founded one of Europe’s largest investment management firms, overseeing €30 billion in assets.
Nico has also served as an advisor to the Irish Government and held a board seat at the European Investment Bank, underscoring his deep industry knowledge and strategic vision.

Andrew McCarney
Andrew combines a strong foundation in Business and Management with rigorous experience in financial advisory and assurance at EY, one of Ireland's largest financial services firms, where he focused on accountancy and capital markets.
Andrew’s analytical skills and commercial insight allow Utilityfair’s clients to make informed, confident energy decisions backed by both technical knowledge and practical business sense.
Seán Conway
Seán brings a strong blend of energy market expertise and analytical precision to Utilityfair. With a wealth of experience as a senior energy advisor in both Ireland and Australia, Seán has advised businesses across all sectors in navigating procurement, pricing, and complex market dynamics.
Before specialising in energy, Seán worked as a Data Analyst at KPMG. He holds a Business degree from the NCI, where he received the Dean’s award for academic excellence. His background in finance, analytics, and energy markets allows him to deliver clear, commercially focused insights.
